Then Paige suggested the Flirty Apron Swap! I was so excited to get my partner assigned so I could buy a pattern and start working on it!
Here's the finished product. I sent it off today!
First, my favorite parts: the pocket
And the bodice and tie
Here's the whole thing (almost. It was 3 am when I finished it and I couldn't fit the corners in.)
Oh, did I tell you it's reversible? I might like side 2 even more than side 1.
I really hope my partner likes it!

Absolutely love it! That is darling!
Oh. My. Gosh. PuhLEEEEEZE tell me that I am your parter. I hope the apron goddesses are smiling down on me... It is gorgeous! I love the little ruffle across the bottom!
Okay. This pattern may have just convinced me to make another apron. If I can find the time!
LOVE IT!
Oh, how I love it. Bravo, again! Your skills are just growing more and more with each pattern. SO GREAT!
Wow! Great job... Sewing is a very special talent that I dont have but I admire it in others! Way cute!
I love this!! Just a few days ago, I was telling David that I want an apron, but when I looked at a website the other day, I thought all the aprons were hideous (aka, over-the-top silly/frilly meets French maid). You have such good taste!! I would totally pay you to make one for me.
Okay, maybe I was exaggerating when I said hideous, but yours is definitely the cutest I've seen! AND it has enough fabric on it to be functional. :)
Hi Rachel, first time to your blog and I LOVE it!! your aprons (my mum and I are huge into aprons) and that flirty swap finishing your project at 3am we could be bff's :)

Love your choice of pattern and fabrics... went right to the site and ordered the pattern for myself. Never can have too many cute apron patterns.
LOVE it!! Great job! You inspire me to almost sew! :)
